"Fund Raising Month"
During all month of May, CGA will be collecting funds and school supplies to assist a school in the Equateur Province, in DRC. Although Congo Global Action is an advocacy coalition, exceptionally, the proceeds of this fund raising will go towards providing furniture to a school in the Equateur province in Congo. This is an extraordinary case, but one that we wish to support, in concert with our trip to DRC.
We are also collecting used cell phones, children clothing, shoes, bag pack and otherr goods, to donate to the student of that school. Thanks!

Congo GLobal Action is preparing its first trip to DRC in the effort to connect with the Congolese people, civil societies and policy makers, in preparation of its third Africa-based "Grass Root conference in 2010".
