Recycle Cell Phones
80% of the world's reserves of coltan, a mineral used in the production of cell phones, are in the DR Congo. One third of the world's tin reserves, also used in the production of cell phones, come from the DR Congo. These minerals are major contributors to the country's continual conflict and exploitation.

In an effort to begin reducing the demand for these conflict minerals, recycle your cell phone or create a cell phone recycling program on your campus, in your place of worship, office, or community!

Start your recycling program today! Collective Good, with whom we are working to sponsor cell phone recycling programs throughout the country, will provide you with free postage and collection containers. For every cell phone you collect, $1 will go to Congo Global Action Coalition.
